Protecting Wyoming’s wide-open landscapes and communities from the threat of wildland fire is a key piece of what we do at the Wyoming State Forestry Division (WSFD).
Guided by our mission to conserve, enhance, and protect, our approach to fire management includes helping communities plan ahead, training the next generation of firefighters, providing real-time response and handling the essential fire business that keeps operations moving.
Working side-by-side with our local, state, federal and tribal partners, our goal is to be prepared for whenever—and wherever—we’re needed.
